I’m a fully qualified primary teacher with 14 years of teaching experience, both internationally and in the UK. My career has taken me to schools in China, Brazil and the Middle East, before returning to the UK, where I have spent the last six years teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Throughout my career, I have taught children of all ages and abilities, developing particular expertise in English, history, drama and music. I am passionate about making learning engaging, creative and tailored to each child’s individual needs.
I have extensive experience supporting pupils with a wide range of learning needs, including autism (ASD), ADHD, trauma-informed practice and English as an Additional Language (EAL). I pride myself on building strong relationships with children, helping them grow in confidence while achieving their full academic potential.
Alongside classroom teaching, I have successfully tutored pupils online for many years, including throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, I worked with a Year 6 pupil who achieved Greater Depth in every SATs subject following personalised, targeted tuition.
Whether your child needs support to build confidence, close gaps in learning, prepare for SATs, or stretch themselves to reach Greater Depth, I provide engaging, supportive lessons that are carefully tailored to their goals and learning style. My aim is not only to improve academic outcomes but also to help children enjoy learning and believe in their own abilities.
I am available for online tuition, as well as in person for areas surrounding Chorley, Euxton, Coppull, Buckshaw Village and Leyland.
