I am a Primary-trained teacher in my third year of teaching at a specialist SEMH Secondary school, where I deliver maths lessons through to GCSE level. I am also able to offer SATS support in both Maths and English. I adapt the pace, language, structure and level of challenge within lessons to reflect each student’s academic starting point, emotional needs and readiness to learn.
I take account of individual needs and diagnoses, including ADHD and autism, while recognising that every student is different.
My calm, therapeutic and empathetic approach allows me to build trusting relationships and create a safe environment where students feel understood and supported.
