My aim is to provide patient, inclusive and personalised support that helps each student understand concepts clearly, improve their academic progress and feel more confident in their abilities. My goal is to make learning meaningful, engaging and enjoyable, while helping learners develop independence, self-belief, motivation and a positive attitude towards their educational journey. I am an experienced educational leader and qualified teacher with over 32 years of experience in teaching, academic leadership, student support and mentoring. I am passionate about helping learners achieve their full potential through personalised, inclusive and confidence building teaching approaches. I have extensive experience supporting learners with English language development, communication skills, study skills and additional educational needs. I am a patient, calm and empathetic educator who understands that students learn in different ways. I focus on building strong relationships with my students so that they feel supported, motivated and confident in their learning.
My background includes teaching English language and literature, supporting EAL, ESL and EFL learners, mentoring students, providing academic guidance and working with learners who require additional support. I also have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs and learning differences, using calm, structured and adaptable teaching methods to help them engage with learning at their own pace.
