Prior to tutoring, I had been a teacher for seventeen years. I am a little unique in the fact that I have taught every year group from Nursery all the way up to Year 11. I am therefore able to support a wide range of students in a variety of ways.
I have been an Early Years leader in two schools and worked in both Reception and Nursery. I completed a NPQEYL (National Professional Qualification in Early Years Leadership) a couple of years ago. During my time in a secondary school, I supported children to help them make accelerated progress. I also taught Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4.
I am more than equipped to help students with phonics work, handwriting, literacy and numeracy to young learners, as well as Maths at Key Stage 3, GCSE and Functional Skills. I really enjoy tutoring and working one to one with young people.
I can travel up to half an hour from DY6 or provide tuition online.
