I am an experienced primary school teacher with 13 years of teaching experience across a wide range of schools in the UK. Throughout my career, I have developed a passion for helping children achieve their full potential, with particular expertise in English and mathematics.
I currently lead mathematics in my school, where my work was recognised during a recent Ofsted inspection for the positive impact on achievement across the school. I have also successfully completed senior leadership training, giving me a strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment and effective teaching strategies.
As a current Year 6 teacher, I have an excellent understanding of the Key Stage 2 SATs and the expectations pupils need to meet to succeed. I know how to identify gaps in learning quickly and tailor lessons to each child’s needs, using ongoing assessment to adapt teaching in real time. My patient, encouraging approach helps children build confidence while making consistent progress.
